TABLET TIME - the most amazing thing we have done at Arrowhead this year … so far.
In the past week, Arrowhead has given out 50 ‘Amazon Fire 7’ tablets to our members (and provided training on how to use them). This will allow our members to access Arrowhead’s online supports (weekly zoom meetings, newsletters, daily check in, website, etc.).
We are all so proud of this initiative, helping some of the Coast’s most vulnerable and disenfranchised to access a resource that many of us now take for granted. Member’s can now email or Zoom a family member, search for work or housing, play a fun game, watch a movie or easily check a bus schedule.
Research suggests that ‘63% of the world’s population has access to the internet’ … that now includes all Arrowhead Members!
