Dear Fellow Members of the Sunshine Coast Community,
First, we would like to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you for the amazing support you have given Arrowhead Clubhouse over this past and very difficult year.
In addition to the challenges of COVID, the clubhouse has lost members to the ongoing Fentanyl crisis. The weather has also had a surprising impact on our members. One of our oldest, and dearest, members passed away during the summer heat dome. Some of our members have struggled with lung issues due to the cold and wetness from the atmospheric rivers plaguing our region; and living in a tent during any weather phenomena is very difficult, to put it mildly.
From the winter coat donations to the food drop-offs and from the thousands of pair of socks (our feet love them) to the gift cards, we are so lucky for the community support of our clubhouse and its members. In fact, we now have an entire room for clothing exchange.
This year, we are holding our Christmas Feast with all the trimmings on Christmas Eve – and we are so excited. It is our wish to recreate the spirit and energy from previous years (pre-COVID) where we have given out presents to all our members. To make this wish come true, we would greatly appreciate your help.
Below is a list of present ideas. If you have a spare present with no home, please think of Arrowhead Clubhouse. We will happily pass it on to the member it suits.
You can drop off presents (wrapped or unwrapped), Monday to Thursday (9am to 3:30pm) at the Arrowhead Clubhouse (5554 Inlet Ave, Sechelt – opposite the Post Office).
